Thodupuzha Block Panchayat

Thodupuzha Block Panchayat is one of the major local self-government institutions in Idukki district. Functioning under the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, the Block Panchayat coordinates the development activities of the Grama Panchayats and implements various government schemes. The Block Panchayat comprises the Grama Panchayats of Muttom, Purappuzha, Karimkunnam, Kumaramangalam, Manakkad, Edavetty, and others within its jurisdiction.The Secretary is the administrative officer of the Panchayat.
